On the nu-MST3K talk, I'm usually super sceptical when someone says "it totally gets better!" but holy shit does it ever in this case. Cry Wilderness is just a great episode no matter the era.

Brad's insistence that Battlegrounds wouldn't work on console is short sighted, as there are very few games that wouldn't work on console. I've seen that claim made about many PC games that worked out great on console that it's a silly reason to outright deny a new audience the ability to play the game. It'd be a little bit different with a controller, but it would be easily doable with good controller support.

@reticulate: Absolutely agree, I hope they follow through and give it a shot. Just finished the season and really enjoyed it, the paper-mache skit from Hollow Mountain totally killed me.

Oh nice! You can pause the Giant Bomb video player with the K-key. Since I learned that you can pause Youtube-videos by pressing K I've tried to do this in VLC multiple times and I always get disappointed. But Giant Bomb doesn't make me feel stupid and the video just stops.

Well, remember the reason they started the P4 ER in the first place was so they'd have an excuse to find time to play it. And this year's been a bumper crop of great games to play.

This can be said about most things.

VLC pause is space, also you can just change the hotkeys if you really want it to be K (tools, preference, hotkeys). They just use embedded youtube so if you are on mobile/tablet you can double tap different parts of the screen and it will rewind & fast forward 10-30 seconds depending where you click on the screen as well. The new youtube player is pretty good.

I kinda started to feel the same way about Nier in that the actual gameplay has become the least interesting part of that game. Not saying it's bad or anything like that. It's just, yeah, putting it on easy just so I can see the rest of the story sounds like a wonderful idea at this point.

I've watched one stream on twitch and it took over 100 hours to play even without trying to do everything. It's fantastic game and I wish they had played it instead of the

yakuza game. But if they played 1hour a week it would take a couple of years to finish Persona 5.

Given that there's a lot of lineage from ARMA and DayZ (which aren't console friendly), it's a reasonable assumption to make (not just a controller issue, UI considerations has to be made too). Not saying it can't happen but Brad isn't actively against the idea, just pondering how the implementation will be.

Guys can you please bump up the volume a bit? I have to custom mix every Giantbomb.com media piece because it's all very quiet.

No joke about those Camaro windshields. In the 4th gens, you're sitting just ahead of the rear wheels, with the transmission next to your knees, and you're right on the floorboard, legs stuck out straight. The dash is a million miles long and wider than heck. I've heard tell that the 5th gens have the highest aspect ratio (height/width) on the door windows in the industry. I used to have an '00 Firebird. Man I liked that car.

I really loved the battlegrounds stuff+ jeff and brad are my favorite combo.Adding vinny was putting the 3 best personalities in one stream no offense intended.Even though i understand the persona 5 issues it REALLY makes me sad we may not get a persona 5 er :(

Jeff, I threw away all of my socks and bought all matching socks. And it is amazing. It is great to take my socks straight out of the dryer and just toss them in the dresser with no cares.
