Uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but Gust has nothing to do with either Fatal Frame or Deception, do they? I only know them from Ar Tonelico and the Atelier games.

This kinda reminds me of Final Fantasy Explorers, but hopefully not as boring and shitty as that game.

When Jason told Dan that "baka" meant cool, I lost it. When Dan became skeptical because he remembered a wrestler's tweet, I died. That whole bit was too funny. I love you, Giant Bomb lol

Also, in Japan, if you call someone a Baka on the street, people get really upset.

This seems a really odd mix of a raising sim, yuri, and action combat. I may have to try this out.

I suppose you could try to argue that since there is some sort of quest it's more meaningful than simply grinding for experience, currency, or items. But it's still definitely grinding.

I *love* games that has levels where you go to collect stuff. Banjo Kazooie is my favorite Monster Hunter.

Also, @unastrike is right about the naps in anime, @danryckert. There is an entire sub-genre of anime called "Napime" which is all about naps. The hallmark progenitor of the genre is "Nap-incho" or "I can't believe my childhood friend was so sleepy all the time", and I heartily recommend at least checking out the beach episode where they all go to the beach and take naps. Hanako's two-piece gets lost in the mail and she has to go to the beach in her school swimwear instead. Then they hit the watermelon and take a nap. It's quite riveting.

AH-ZOO-RAY is definitely not how you pronounce that word. It's even more distracting than the conspicuous boob jiggle during the cutscenes!

Dan's confusion over anime and JRPGs compounded by Jason deliberately messing with him is really entertaining. The game itself looks like most modern Japanese RPGs... which I don't necessarily mean as a compliment.

Maybe I haven't really been paying close attention to anime style games for a while time, but they certainly nail how anime characters suppose to look in 3D, and it seems they spend a lot more resources on character design and model than anything else.

After twenty-six minutes, I still don't know what's going on, but I'm okay with that.

I always find gust games suuuuper relaxing, this looks pretty chill as well but I dunno.... The action in this looks better than any they 've ever done but that doesnt mean much considering their previous games , I might wait till the next attelier game.

This looks like some more Gust-ass anime bullshit, but goddamnit I liked Chaos Legion so I'mma buy this game. Gust is always super hit or miss for me, usually miss, but when I like a game of theirs I really like it.

I hope Gust takes more risk, and make more projects like this. Its a nice attempt to break out from traditional rpgs.
