Overview
A powerful rocket launcher with seemingly infinite ammo, as is the case with all firearms in the Devil May Cry series. While she comes equipped with a variety of weaponry, Lady's rocket launcher is her primary weapon. Beyond being a powerful ranged weapon it also has attached a bayonet to assist in close-quarters combat as well.
While it is mostly seen to be in the hands of Lady in Devil May Cry 3, including when she is fought as a boss battle, she will eventually lend it to Dante for use to help take down her father, Arkham. Dante is shown to return it to Lady at the end of the story, though like with all weapons Dante still has access to it for any following playthroughs all the same.
Despite being a rocket launcher its range is limited, and is primarily fit for medium-range fire as the rocket will explode shortly after being fired. Its fire rate is rather slow, but it is also easily Dante's most powerful firearm. With the 'Gunslinger' style equipped, it can shoot out a flurry of rockets that'll seek any nearby targets. Despite its bayonet attachment, it can only be used as a ranged weapon and has no melee capabilities.
In Devil May Cry 4 it is shown to still be in use by Lady, though she is never seen to actively use it in combat. However as Lady is included as a playable character in its Special Edition, the Kalina Ann is once again ready for use by the player. It differs from its DMC3 version in that it now has much longer range and is even more powerful. It can ultimately be charged up to fire an extremely powerful rocket, though whilst charging Lady is stuck on the spot and will not track her target should it move from her viewpoint. It retains many of its attacks from DMC3, such as the flurry of rockets, and its homing four-way rocket attack. The Kalina Ann is Lady's one and only melee weapon, to which she uses the weapon's bayonet attachment. Finally Lady also uses the Kalina Ann to provide a double-jump via a rocket boost.
